  1. My brother and I were students at Nurnberg American High School in 1963. We joined the Judo & Karate Club in the WODK gym and I remember walking by the SACOM Stockade to get to the gym. Nurnberg was great fun, with all the Kasernes in the area.

  2. I was at William O Darby from around June 1978 to April 1979 at the 793rd MP Battalion. While my memories at 793rd MP was not a good one, my overall 3 year experience was fantastic centered around all the opportunities for travel (Furth and Nurnberg were great locations to travel all through Western Europe- couldn’t go to Eastern Europe because of the iron curtain, the Cold War) and the great fun things to do like go to all the beer festivals. Great memories!

  4. I was stationed at William O’Darby Kaserne from January 1980 to July 11, 1981, assigned to 37 Transportation Group, 106 Transportation Battalion, 1st Transportation Company aka 1st Truck. 11. When were you there. I’m not a vet but a dependent who has happy memories from being in Germany, MANY MANY years ago. I think you took some pics of family housing, 3 story apt with dormers. I used to roller skate in the attic, with the dormers.

  12. I was never stationed at Darby but was on the kaserne many times. It had the main PX with all the dealerships. Main Commissary and the likes. It was about 7 or 8 miles from where I was stationed.

    1. I was there in 73 to 76. Love it. Wish they had published a album of us.
