Life in the barracks is what you make of it. There are facilities on base that you can use, such as the Gym, NAAFI, sports fields, movie theaters and swimming pools etc. Your room depends on where you are and what is available. You could be in a single man room, or 2, 4, 6 or 8 man room. Do whatever you see fit to make life comfortable for you.

One day all of us will get separated from each other. We will miss our conversations, friendships, comradery and our times together “GOOD and BAD Days”. Months and Years will pass. One day our children will see these photos and ask “Who are these People”? and we will smile with invisible tears and say, “It was with them that I had the best days of my life”. (From James Temperly in the old Ferris Barracks Guestbook)

There are now 5,072 photos on this site as of 3/18/2022.
