I served at Merrell barracks from 76-79, as a MOS 62B, Construction Equipment Repairer. Didn’t see the MOS on the list.
Wow, a lot of MOS codes have changed or disappeared. I still see a few of mine on there, but others I went to school with aren’t there anymore like 81E Graphics Illustrator/Draftsman and 93E Meteorological Observer. Others I’ve worked in and was rated for changed their designation like 64C Light Wheeled Vehicle Operator now 88M, 71L Clerk, 75B PSNCO and a couple I cannot even remember the code it’s been so long 😂 like Intelligent Analyst was in 90 something series I think. The ones I carried that have not changed were the linguistics identifier, 12B Combat Engineer and 88N Movement Control. Two of my MOS’s got phased out on my and required me to reclassify and one I had to reclassify due to my injuries from Desert Storm. Worked in a few others as well when needed due to personnel shortages in some of my units but never got rated for them since I didn’t have the pay grade requirements for the slot so didn’t mention them here; only have awards as proof for those 😂.
